Meet me at the park.

Our history is over 140 years old

Modeled after New York City’s Central Park, Liberty Park is our jewel to be treasured and preserved. Liberty Park is the oldest and second largest park in Salt Lake. The city purchased the sprawling 80 acres of park land from Utah founding father, Brigham Young’s, estate in 1881. Our dream is to restore the park to its finest, while offering new varieties of safe family fun. Welcome back to your community playground!
